Look East Policy

 • Look East Policy, principally, aims to strengthen profitable relations between India and Southeast Asia or East Asia substantially through trade, investment and indigenous cooperation. India wished to integrate into the region's buzzing husbandry through free trade agreements and joining indigenous multinational forums similar as ASEAN( Association of Southeast Asian Nations).

 Horn of Africa

 

 • It's called the" Horn" due to its cornucopia- suchlike shape, and it borders the Red Sea to the north, the Gulf of Aden to the east, and the Indian Ocean to the southeast.

 

 • The Horn of Africa is strategically important, geographically along the primary seaborne shipping routes worldwide. Its region is a vital and strategic strait for global trade and maritime security.

 

 • There are patient conflicts in the region; for case, the civil war in Somalia, the conflict between Ethiopia and Eritrea along the border, and terrorism by groups similar as Al- Shabaab.

 

 Quad

 

 • Quad( Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) is a strategic cooperation between the United States, India, Japan and Australia, established in 2007 to promote a free and open Indo-Pacific region.

 

 • It's centered on maritime security, technological cooperation, climate change, epidemic response, and pushing back against China's growing influence in the Indo- Pacific.

 

 • The quadrangle will take over common military exercises, coordinate cyber security conditioning, and cooperate on structure development through enterprise similar as the Indo- Pacific Economic Framework.
